AIP Friendly Italian Seasoning

When one is doing an AIP diet. It truly is best to make your own herb blends. I will be posting about growing your own herb garden indoors and outdoors soon. They truly are so easy to grow and food is so much better tasting you will forget all about the amazing benefits your body is enjoying. One of my favorite blend of herbs is Italian seasoning, but so many contain red pepper flakes, and with AIP we know that is a NO NO and inflammation waiting to happen. So here is my take on the classic Italian seasoning blend. Super easy and Oh so good.
Italian Seasoning
3 TB Dried Oregano
3 TB Dried Basil ( I like extra so I do 4)
3 TB Dried Rosemary (I run mine through the coffee grinder so it is finer)
3 TB Dried Thyme (I like thyme to so I add 4)
Add all of your herbs to an airtight container. Place lid on container and shake until well mixed.
Notes
You can also try adding in these herbs for a more savory tatse and blend. Use equal parts of marjoram, cilantro, and savory
