Hey ya'll Noni here, and I just want to say thank you for visiting me here at the Nook. I am sure you are all wondering what is this crazy little Nook in the world is. Originally this site was set up as a shopping site, an by all means please check out the store while you are here. The site is under construction as A LOT has happened in my life this past month, and year ( We will save ALLL THAT STUUFFFS for the blog). The Nook has under went a lot of changes. I have learned this past year that old Forest was right. Life is like a box of chocolates and you never know what is inside. You also never know what is inside of you.
Here at the Nook you will find my personal blog and story of life. Life after abuse, life living with a world that has no tolerance for the most part for those that see the world differently. You will see struggles, healing, compassion, love, and My theme for this year GRATITUDE. We spend so much time staring at all that is wrong we lose everything that is right. I want to be the light in someone's tunnel and if bearing my pain, my failures, and my healing helps one person than I have served my PURPOSE in life.

We also have a little section that tells the hidden secrets of a small town, but that is not all.

Our Background
It all started with a dream and need for affordable all natural products because of an autoimmune disease. Long nights of itching or burning from blisters. Mixed with belly bloat, skin that hated blankets and clothing. A self esteem that was steadily dropping because of all the things I could no longer do, and products that just did not WORK.
So, I started making my own because I just could not afford to purchase them in the store. That turned into people asking what I use on my skin and where to get it. The dream grew again crafts, candles, and more.
Then something amazing happened and I gave my life over to Christ. That is when I found my purpose. It is not only in making affordable quality products and directing people where to find them, but to share my testimony, my life, and my story. Since I have a passion for so many other things cooking, autoimmune health and natural living, crafting, writing, and just sharing life and being so grateful to know that somewhere out there someone is being reached, someone is happier because of a craft or review, and someone knows they are not alone in the lonely world of autoimmune. We can survive, but even more we can live, and be a light in someone else's tunnel. So, my focused shifted from just business to people, and sharing with others, giving them what I have used along the way, being GRATEFUL for all I have and content where I am, and continuing down the road of autoimmune and this world no longer alone, but in his hands and in his time.
